Camp Changes Lives
Camp has made a difference in the lives of thousands of young people since its beginning. The people who regularly sit in our pews, teach our Sunday School and confirmation, sing in the choir, serve on the church council and countless other ministries often have a common denominator—a Bible camp experience. It’s no wonder that a majority of pastors point to a camp experience as pivotal in their discernment of their call to ministry. Camp is one of the best feeder systems the church has, helping to provide future leaders for ministry.
Dear GLLM,
I just wanted to say thank you for having so many fun camps to go to! I have gone to Shores of St. Andrew five times and I went to the Green Lake retreat last year with some friends. I have visited the Shores Village when my friend’s parents were working there. It is just an awesome way for kids & adults to get to know Jesus a lot more. My friends and I are very excited to go to Green Lake next summer! It’s going to be great getting to know new people! Again, thank you for having your camps open to tons of people who really need Jesus!
God Bless All of You!

Individual Gifts are Vital
Camp and retreat fees make up only 65% of income needed. The balance comes from gifts made by individuals and congregations.
Here are two charts. The first show how GLLM is primarily supported. The second shows where GLLM spends its money.

The Benefits of Giving
Participation in Mission
Giving to Bible camp makes you a partner in mission with one of the most effective youth ministries in the church today. Your gift helps ensure that our children will have faith.
“Over the years we’ve visited individuals who have shared with us what our church’s ministry has meant to them--how their experiences have influenced their faith and their lives in positive ways. This we hope to help perpetuate. -- Ollie & Shar Hagen
Satisfaction of Being a Donor
Giving to others brings a deep satisfaction that is very gratifying. We are “blessed to be a blessing.”
“It is more important now than ever to bring the Word of God into the lives of young people. It is our hope and prayer that the church will continue to have resources for its ministry far into the future. These ministries deserve the support of all who care about the impact our children have on the future of the world.” -- Charles & Sharon Olson
