We are called to share God’s love with our neighbors. ​ We invite your congregation to join Serve Boldly - through prayer, with a gift of time or talent, or even as a staff member - and participate in what God is calling us to do TOGETHER.  On this page are resources that you may find helpful in promoting Serve Boldly trips.

  • ​Talk about the trip early and often
  • Set aside a month and encourage "temple talks" from previous participants to share their experiences or for participants to share "research" about the community they will be traveling to
  • Invite your congregation to pray regularly for youth and adults who will be traveling, for the Serve Boldly staff, and for our neighbors in communities around the world
  • Be creative! Design a Worship around accompaniment, encourage youth to create a display about the community they will travel to, plan a fundraiser or offering to support one of the service organizations in the community, invite a community leader or resource speaker to help your congregation dig deeper into conversations on topics of poverty, racial equity, gentrification, homelessness, food security, etc.

Use these resources to help share the Serve Boldly experience with both participants AND your congregation! Include them in a slide show, newsletter, email, or bulletin insert!  Trip leaders of reserved groups can find more specific information related to promoting their trip in the Trip Portal.
