  3. Attend a summer staff gathering or event at camp! These events are held all over the state, as an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and get an update on what's happening at camp. See below for the next dates!

Join us for a Staff Alumni Gathering on Saturday, April 25 at High Pines Brewing, Roseville from 5:00-8:00 PM! Reconnect with old friends, enjoy some delicious food and beverages, and hear a brief update of what’s going on at camp from Travis Aufderheide, Executive Director. Bring your favorite memories and photos and join us for a fun evening!

Help make this summer one to remember for this generation of summer staff! Join the Alumni Giving Circle to make a big impact, little by little, by setting up a recurring Sustainers gift, dedicated to the summer staff experience. 
​A group of summer staff alumni are tackling these projects totaling $19,500, one recurring donation at a time:
  • 3 summer camp staff salaries, one at each of our sites = $15,000
  • Summer staff lounge improvements including new couches and resources for finding rest = $3,000
  • A memorable summer staff banquet and celebration = $1,500

Supporting leaders for the future
The Seminary Scholarship Fund is a seminary scholarship resource created with an initial gift of $90,000 from Theodore Moen to insure that faithful and promising adults can accept the call to ministry and provide leadership for the ELCA in the 21st Century.

Primary Purpose
  • Attract and encourage more Water's Edge Ministries staff as candidates for seminary
  • Reduce potential debt of seminary graduates
  • Affirm those who respond to the call
  • Meet the need to respond to new and changing mission challenges worldwide
