Our ministry in Racine responds to the needs of our neighbors in poverty by working with local leaders and congregations. With over 15% of the community living in poverty, we are committed to meeting the needs identified by local leaders. Our ministry explores homelessness and affordable housing in the San Diego region, in addition to the challenges posed by refugee resettlement and political tensions with the national border. Participants will enjoy visiting San Diego’s National Historic Landmarks such as Chicano Park and wandering through world-famous Balboa Park.
