Grace: God’s love and forgiveness are freely given to everyone as a child of God. Grace comes without condition, before we earn or deserve it. Our most faithful response is to extend that same lavish generosity to one another.
Safety: We are committed to creating experiences where participants, guests, staff, and volunteers are physically, emotionally, and spiritually safe. We seek to prepare spaces well, listen carefully, respond with care, and partner with people to provide the support and accommodations that help them participate fully.
Radical Hospitality: We are glad you are here. We knew you were coming, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve prepared for you. Just as God welcomes all, we seek to welcome each person with warmth, attentiveness, and generosity. We go the extra mile to create spaces and experiences that clearly say, “You belong here.”
Community: In Christ’s name, we are gathered by the Holy Spirit for the sake of one another. Through singing and story, prayer and play, service and shared life, we are formed together. In community, relationships grow, faith is nurtured, and people experience a sense of belonging as they are drawn into something larger than themselves.
Belonging: All are created in the image of God and included in God’s wide welcome. We celebrate the differences in personality, perspective, ability, culture, identity, experience, and faith background that enrich life together. Each person is not only invited, but truly belongs here.
Scripture: Holy Scripture roots and shapes us as people of God. The Bible tells the story of God and God’s people, and it inspires our ministry values and the way we live. We are committed to knowing this story and sharing God’s good news joyfully through our words and actions.
Accompaniment: We believe ministry is meant to be shared, not imposed. We walk together with mutual respect, humility, and care, trusting that God is already at work in every community. As we follow Jesus, we seek to break down barriers, honor local wisdom, and build relationships that strengthen existing ministries.
Sabbath: We offer Holy time and place apart to connect with God, God’s creation, and one another. Sabbath is not limited to Sunday morning; it is a way of living that reminds us who we are as God’s children. It invites us to step away from a frantic pace and live as the people God created us to be—people who laugh and love, eat and breathe, and serve the good world God made.
Vocation: We are called to be a ministry of belonging that honors each person's gifts. People are invited to listen for God’s call in every season of life—as family members, friends, neighbors, leaders, and servants in the world. We seek to create space for people to discern how God is calling them to live and serve.
Stewardship: We are called to care for and generously share the many blessings of God. This includes stewarding precious resources of land, water, facilities, time, money, and people with wisdom and gratitude. From donor dollars to hiking trails to the trust placed in us by participants, guests, families, congregations, volunteers, and staff, we take this responsibility seriously
