Experience the joys of camp with Camp Joy, specially designed for adults with disabilities! Start your days with worship and engaging Bible study sessions, then dive into a variety of activities such as swimming, pontoon rides, arts and crafts, and games. Evenings bring thrilling group events like kickball tournaments, karaoke, dance parties, and carnivals. Return home each evening refreshed and anticipating another joy-filled day.

Camp Joy primarily caters to individuals who are self-sufficient and don't need extensive one-on-one supervision. If assistance in daily routines is necessary (changing into swim suits, using the restroom, etc.), attendance of a caregiver is required for the individual.

Pastor Jon Dahl has been serving as Pastor at Bethel Lutheran Church in Willmar, MN for the past 17 years. He is a homegrown west central Minnesota boy, fondly remembering attending Green Lake Bible Camp as a youth.

​Jon is married to Sarah, who also works in youth ministry and music at Bethel, and they have four kids. Jon enjoys athletics, reading, tending plants and animals, following his kids’ activities, and all things Minnesota Gophers and Vikings.

SCHOLARSHIPS

We want camp to be available to everyone who wants to come! Many churches offer scholarships to help with the cost of camp. You can also apply for scholarships through camp. Fill out a Scholarship Form online or request one by calling us at 320-796-2181.
