2025 summer Timeline Details

Our summer staff team is hired for a residential, overnight summer camp program. All staff are expected to live at camp and be part of the community and daily activities. Each staff member will interact with campers and program participants of all ages. Learn more about our summer ministries and the many programs we offer!

Typical full summer contracts are May 25 - August 12.
  • May 19-23 - Leadership Staff and Program Support team training 
  • May 25-June 6 - Required all staff training
  • Week of July 4th is unpaid time off.

Salary range is $4500-$6500 Summer Salary based on position and bonus incentives we offer.

2024 summer staff Incentives

** All incentives will be paid out in August pending successful completion of the contract. **

Early Bird bonus

Any NEW staff member who returns their signed contract by February 15th will receive a $300 bonus at the end of the summer. 

​RETURNING staff members who return their signed contract by January 15 will receive a $500 bonus at the end of the summer.

lifeguard

American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard - staff can obtain training through GLLM sponsored training or hold prior certification. Staff will receive $250 bonus at the end of the summer.

Referral bonus

Bring a friend to work at GLLM! You could receive up to $1000 for each person you refer who is hired and completes their work agreement.
