Day Camp is a cooperative program between your local church and Water's Edge Ministries (formerly GLLM). Our Day Camp teams travel to new locations each week and provide a unique experience to campers entering Kindergarten through through 6th grades! We provide a team of highly trained staff and a dynamic program consisting of Bible studies, worship, music, crafts, and games that will highlight the life-changing love of Jesus! Your congregation provides the location, shares the opportunity with youth and provides volunteers to support the program!

Day Camp ran by Water's Edge Ministries summer staff is open to children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade the 2026-27 school year. The curriculum is tailored to accommodate these ages, including a schedule with age-appropriate games and crafts. We require a minimum of 15 campers to execute a vibrant day camp week.

Schedule

Day Camp is offered each week of our summer schedule. The first week of summer programming starts June 7th, and the last week starts August 2nd. ​
  • A standard week of Day Camp runs from Sunday - Thursday. Sunday is a welcome and preparation day for you and our staff, and programming starts Monday. Our day camp curriculum has 4 days of programming. 
  • The timing of day camp is flexible to meet the needs of your community and congregation; we will work with you to customize your day camp. 
  • If you plan on hosting your own preschool program alongside day camp, consider ending day camp at noon for those youngest kids and continue through the afternoon for the older kids.

Day Camp teams are composed of at least three staff members; the projected staff for your day camp will be based on the anticipated camper numbers. Please note, we strongly encourage that a congregational representative is present during the hours of the day camp.

Our goal for Day Camp is to make a memorable impact in the life of your congregation. If you have a specific idea or need, let us know! We have worked alongside congregation members during community events to support the congregation and integrate during our time there.

expenses

  • ​The 2026 price for Day Camp is $150 per camper. SUBMIT RESERVATION & DEPOSIT BEFORE OCTOBER 13 TO LOCK IN 2025 PRICING: $130 per camper.
  • The minimum fee per congregation is based on 25 campers registered, which comes out to $3,750. (We’re committed to serving you. If cost is an issue, please let us know.)
  • Mileage expenses are charged on round-trip travel from camp to church and daily travel from host family homes to church.
  • The congregation is asked to provide housing and meals for camp staff the entire week of Day Camp. This can be done creatively with RV or summer home, host families, gift cards, or meal trains.
  • A non-refundable $1000 deposit is required when you return your contract. This will be deducted from your final costs in the summer.

Shores of St. Andrew Bible Camp
Camper Fee: $190
Join us for Day Camp at Shores of St. Andrew Bible Camp, a Monday–Thursday program filled with community-building, Bible study, crafts, games, and swimming. Campers return home each afternoon, allowing us to pack as much fun, learning, and faith formation as possible into the middle of the day. Local congregations and community residents are invited to enjoy the full camp experience with the comforts of home at night.
