Internship Opportunities

Each year, we hire students, deacons, and seminarians from around the country to explore our awesome partner communities and serve alongside non-profits and ministries with a paid summer internship! We take care of your training, travel to and from your partner community, and all lodging / food during your internship.

SERVE BOLDLY STAFF TEAMS
Teams of 2-5 staff ensure a quality service and accompaniment experience for participants during their service trip. They work with adult leaders of the participating groups to create an environment that allows youth to do God’s work in the community.
A full-week program work week begins on Sunday at Noon and concludes on Friday at Noon; half-week programs begin on Sunday at Noon and conclude on Wednesday at Noon. Leaders and guides stay overnight at the housing site during the work week and receive 2-3 hours off daily, Monday through Thursday (or Monday to Tuesday during half-weeks).

INCENTIVES

Whether you’re returning for another summer or helping us grow by referring new staff, your contributions make a lasting impact on our ministry and the communities we serve. Our incentive programs are one way we say thank you for being part of this life-changing work!

Returning Guides & Leaders
Earn an additional $25 per week added to your salary when you return for another season of ministry — no matter how many seasons have passed! This incentive is available to any staff returning to guide or leader positions, and contracts must be completed in full (prorated if necessary). Serve Boldly staff must serve a minimum of two program weeks to qualify. |
Referral Incentive
Earn $200 for a 2-week commitment, plus $100 for each additional week when a new staff member you refer is hired and successfully completes their contract. This incentive is available to Serve Boldly staff who refer new hires, or to participating congregations, which may instead receive equivalent credit toward a retreat, Day Camp, or Serve Boldly experience. All referral incentives are considered taxable income and are distributed in August, following the successful completion of the referred staff member’s contract. |
