Job Description
The Food Service Assistant / Sous Chef plays a key role in preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals for campers, retreat guests, and staff at Green Lake Bible Camp and Shores of St. Andrew. This hands-on position assists with meal preparation, food safety, inventory management, and kitchen cleanliness, all while upholding GLLM’s commitment to hospitality and community. The Food Service Assistant works closely with the Food Service Manager to ensure meals meet dietary needs, maintain quality standards, and create a welcoming dining experience.
