lodging

Our year-round retreat center offers plenty of options for lodging. The East Wing offers 15 private guest rooms (each sleeps 3-4), with a full bed, two twin beds and a private bathroom. The West Wing offers 8 large sleeping rooms, with 6 wooden bunk beds each, sleeping 12 and shared bathrooms. With these options, we can host multiple groups at the same time, each with their own private spaces. The sleeping rooms are on two different levels, allowing us to accommodate additional separation. Linens are provided for the East Wing, and are available upon request for the West Wing. In the East Wing rooms the road side rooms have air conditioning while the lake side rooms enjoy the breeze off of the lake.

Our Great Room (the New Vision Room) can seat up to 200 people and can host a variety of events and retreats. We offer chairs, tables, podiums and tech equipment that can be set up in a variety of ways to accommodate your group’s needs. To see a full list of what equipment we offer, click here.

The Dining Hall can seat up to 120 and can be used for more than just meals. There are 12 6-ft round tables available with up to 10 chairs around each one. We also have small couch and seating areas around our fireplace and near the lake-front windows for smaller meetings and breakout sessions. Tech equipment can be set up in the Dining Hall to fit your group’s needs.

There are 5 other lounges and meeting spaces available throughout the Chrysalis House for your use. These can host anywhere from 5-20 people and can be arranged in a variety of ways. They are perfect for breakout sessions, small meeting areas, and gathering spaces.

meals

Food service is available for all Chrysalis House stays. Our normal meal times are 8:30 breakfast (or 10:30 brunch), 12:00 lunch and 5:30 supper, but times can be arranged to fit your group’s schedule. Menus are set by our kitchen staff and we work hard to accommodate dietary restrictions. Our kitchen is licensed, therefore all meals are prepared by our wonderful kitchen staff (no guest kitchen space available). Ice is available to all of our guests upon request, and in an upstairs lounge, there is a full fridge and microwave available for guest use.

We provide Hospitality Stations at two different points in the Chrysalis House. These stations are available to all guests and feature a variety of beverages (coffee, cappuccino, soft drinks, sparkling water and tea) as well as a variety of snacks.

The Chrysalis House provides direct lake access with a sandy beach, with adirondack chairs, picnic tables, and a small fire pit (firewood included). Two docks help to define a private swimming area, and allow access to boat loading and unloading (there is a boat landing just up the street from the Chrysalis House in which guests can launch their boats).
