quilt auction 2025: july 11 & 12

The Annual Quilt Auction is Green Lake Lutheran Ministries' largest fundraiser of the year - and a great time! Every year, over 200 quilts and Silent Auction items are donated and then auctioned off to support the ministry happening at camp. Under a tent on the shores of Green Lake over the course of a weekend, guests and donors enjoy the auction, meals, homemade doughnuts, live music and more. Tens of thousands of dollars are raised in an afternoon, supporting the ministry of GLLM.

We accept donations of quilts, Silent Auction items, and cash. We can start accepting items May 1st and ask that all items be delivered to camp by July 2nd, 2025. Please submit an item form and read the guidelines carefully. Any quilts received after July 2nd may not be included in the booklet or listed online.

Please note: each individual item donated needs a donation form, with the exception of Makers Market donations. For Makers Market donations, just one will do with the donor's contact information!

one auction, fOUR sections

The Quilt Auction at Green Lake Bible Camp has grown over the years, requiring us to break the auction into smaller sections. They are as follows:
  • Live Quilt Auction: the first 100 or so quilts are auctioned off live, in-person under the tent by Green Lake on Saturday, July 12 beginning at 12:00 PM.
  • Online Quilt Auction: the remainder of the quilts are auctioned off online, beginning Sunday, July 6 until Saturday, July 12 at 5:00 PM.
  • Hybrid Silent Auction: bidding for the Silent Auction is done online, beginning Sunday, July 6 until Saturday, July 12 at 4:00 PM.
  • Instant Item Sale: these items are purchased outright rather than auctioned off. These can be purchased online or in-person. Most of these items are one-of-a-kind - if you see something you like, it's best to snatch it up!​
All items are available on display in the Chrysalis House at Green Lake Bible Camp, beginning Friday, July 11 at 3:00 PM! Online bidding available beginning July 6.

Visit the Makers Market at the Quilt Auction and find just what you need for your next project. Peruse the collection of tools, patterns, books, and materials for a wide variety of crafting areas. All items are new or very gently used and sold as is. Come get inspired for your next project!

Open Friday, July 11 from 3:00-8:00 and July 12 from 9:00-11:00 AM in the Stave Chapel at Green Lake Bible Camp.
