Green Lake Lutheran Ministries will be sponsoring teams in the 2021 Reebok Ragnar Road Race in Minnesota! The funds raised for this event will be designated for camp scholarships. The Ragnar Road Race | Minnesota is on August 20-21, 2021. The race will start in St. Paul at the State Capitol Building and run along the St. Croix River and Lake Superior to Duluth. Green Lake will have two teams - each with 12 runners and 6-8 support people. Each team member will run 3 legs of the race distance, totaling 15-26 miles. We need more than just runners! We'd love to have you join our team as a van driver, help us serve meals and house runners, or a fan to cheer us on!

Your obligations:

Pay your entry fee of $150: GLLM has already paid the roughly $1,800 for the team. This means that your entry fee would be a donation to GLLM and it would be considered a tax-deductible gift!
Raise money for camp scholarships on your own: Our goal is to raise $20,000 for camper scholarships! This money raised between now and race day would help hundreds of campers experience the life-changing love of Jesus, enjoy GLLM's summer programming, give them a home away from home, and inspire them to continue to grow in their faith lives.
Run the prescribed amount: Each team member will run 15-26 miles over 3 separate legs. When you are not running, you will be cheering your team on or traveling to the next exchange point.

Camp will:

Set up a crowd source style landing page for your personal fundraising: You will have a personalized webpage to use to direct people to donate to your portion of the fundraising. These funds will be directed to Green Lake Lutheran Ministries right away.
Get you an awesome tech running shirt or jacket and GLLM Ragnar T-shirt: If you have any ideas, please share them with Kirsten at [email protected]
Coordinate all of the race logistics: From transportation to meals, overnight accommodations to group organizing, we've got you covered.
